My name is Hayley, and I'm a freelance multimedia journalist, with stories published on Action for Race Equality and Birmingham Eastside.

I often write about local news and events, as well as exploring culture and addressing social issues. I'm interested in content creation, and radio and I am keen to write more about my interests in lifestyle, fashion, beauty, travel, and food.

I graduated with a high 2:1 Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in English and Journalism from Birmingham City University in 2023 and received 4th place in the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Student Competition, Issued by Birmingham Institute of Media and English in July 2023.

My blog, The Green Room, serves as a platform for me to publish my stories and reflect on my previous articles written while in university. I hope to also publish stories that are inspired by people like me, for people like me.
